Mapelor S.L. / La Pajarita manufactures and transforms napkins, tablecloths, and tableware solutions using various raw materials supplied by specialized providers.
The certificates, declarations, tests, and technical documents available on this page have been issued to our suppliers and correspond to specific raw materials or components used in our manufacturing processes. They do not constitute certifications granted to Mapelor S.L. / La Pajarita, nor do they, by themselves, imply that the finished product manufactured by Mapelor is certified.
The applicability of each document depends on the raw material, supplier, product reference, composition, and conditions indicated in its scope. Furthermore, subsequent processing of the material—including processes such as printing, the application of inks, adhesives, finishes, or other components—may affect certain characteristics of the final product.
Therefore, we recommend consulting the specific documentation for each product reference when it is necessary to verify a particular characteristic.
RAW MATERIALS WITH OEKO-TEX® DOCUMENTATION
Certain raw materials used in our products have OEKO-TEX® documentation provided by their manufacturers or suppliers.
This documentation certifies only the materials and/or processes included in the scope of the corresponding certificate and has been issued to the raw material supplier.

Their use in our manufacturing processes does not imply that Mapelor S.L. / La Pajarita or the finished product has its own OEKO-TEX® certification.
RAW MATERIALS WITH GOTS DOCUMENTATION
Certain raw materials used in our products have documentation provided by suppliers certified according to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).
The available documentation corresponds to the supplier and exclusively to the materials and processes included within the scope of their certification.

The use of these raw materials does not imply that Mapelor S.L. / La Pajarita or the finished products manufactured by Mapelor have GOTS certification.
INKS WITH SUPPLIER TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION
For printing certain standard and custom products, we use vegetable-based and/or water-based inks, depending on the application and the corresponding technical specifications.
The available documentation has been provided by the manufacturers or suppliers of these inks and refers to their composition and characteristics under the conditions indicated by said suppliers.
This documentation does not constitute independent certification of the finished product printed by Mapelor.
CONFORMITY OF MATERIALS FOR FOOD CONTACT
Mapelor S.L. has a declaration of conformity for the materials used in the manufacture and packaging of its products intended to come into contact with food.
This declaration is based on technical documentation and declarations of conformity provided by our suppliers, along with our internal controls and the application of Good Manufacturing Practices.

The documentation covers, depending on the type of material, requirements applicable to cellulosic materials, polypropylene, packaging films, and adhesives, as well as the corresponding regulations regarding food contact.
The declaration issued by Mapelor certifies the conformity of the materials used, in accordance with the available documentation and within the intended conditions and uses. It should not be interpreted as an external certification granted to Mapelor or as an independent certification seal for the finished product.
FSC® Certified Airlaid Raw Materials
Certain Airlaid materials we use are supplied by providers with FSC® certifications applicable to the raw materials specified in their corresponding documentation.
FSC® allows for the responsible origin of forest-sourced materials through its Chain of Custody system.

The certificates available on this page belong to our suppliers and do not constitute FSC® certification for Mapelor S.L. / La Pajarita or the finished products we manufacture.
DRYLACE RAW MATERIALS: DOCUMENTATION ON DISINTEGRATION AND COMPOSTABILITY
Certain Drylace raw materials used in our products have tests, declarations, or certifications provided by their suppliers regarding disintegration, biodegradability, and/or compostability characteristics under specific conditions.
These documents refer exclusively to the raw material and the conditions covered in the corresponding tests or certificates.

The use of this raw material does not automatically imply that the final product manufactured by Mapelor will have the same certifications. The complete composition of the product and subsequent transformation processes must be considered to determine its final characteristics.
POLYPROPYLENE RAW MATERIAL WITH SAFETY DOCUMENTATION
The base material used in certain Newtex products is polypropylene. Our suppliers provide technical documentation and declarations regarding the composition and certain regulated substances applicable to the supplied raw material.

The available documentation pertains to this raw material and does not constitute independent certification of the finished product manufactured by Mapelor.
The actual recyclability of the product will depend, among other factors, on its final composition, its condition after use, and the existence of appropriate local collection and treatment systems.
KRAFT PAPER RAW MATERIAL WITH BIODEGRADABILITY AND COMPOSTABILITY DOCUMENTATION
Certain kraft paper raw materials used in our products have documentation, tests, or certifications provided by their suppliers regarding their biodegradability and/or compostability under specific conditions.

These certifications and documents apply exclusively to the raw materials specified in their scope and do not imply that the finished product manufactured by Mapelor is certified.
Proper waste management will depend on the final product composition and the collection and treatment systems available in each region.
PAPER RAW MATERIALS WITH FSC® CERTIFICATION
Certain paper raw materials used in our products come from suppliers who hold FSC® certifications applicable to the materials specified in their documentation.
FSC® certification allows for the verification of the traceability of certain forest-derived materials through a certified chain of custody.

The certificates we provide correspond to our suppliers and the raw materials indicated therein. They do not constitute FSC® certification for Mapelor S.L. / La Pajarita, nor do they automatically qualify finished products manufactured by Mapelor as certified.
AIRLAID RAW MATERIALS WITH PEFC DOCUMENTATION
Certain Airlaid raw materials used in our products are supplied by providers who hold PEFC certifications applicable to the materials specified in their documentation.
PEFC provides a traceability system for forest-based materials from sources managed in accordance with its requirements.

PAPER RAW MATERIALS WITH DOCUMENTATION ON THEIR FOREST ORIGIN
Certain paper raw materials used in our manufacturing processes have documentation provided by their suppliers regarding the origin and management of the forest resources used in their production.
The available documentation corresponds exclusively to the supplier and the raw material indicated in each document.

FSC®-CERTIFIED KRAFT MATERIAL
Certain kraft raw materials used in our products are supplied by providers who hold FSC® certifications applicable to the material specified in their documentation.
The available certificates correspond to these suppliers and allow us to verify certain characteristics of the raw material’s origin within the scope of their certification.

Certain raw materials used in selected Airlaid and paper products are supplied with technical documentation and certifications related to industrial compostability.
These certifications apply to the corresponding raw materials and do not imply that the finished product manufactured by Mapelor is certified.
